Department of History cordially invites you to this year's Yavuz Sezer Memorial Talk, titled 'Damascus: A City in Words,' to be delivered by Dana Sajdi on December 5, 2023, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Pera Museum Auditorium. This lecture is devoted to two questions. First, it will analyze how reading was conceived of by literary criticism, sociology of practices, and cultural history.
